MAGA Mike Allman gave thousands of dollars to Donald Trump’s re-election campaign and pushed Trump’s extreme agenda on our schools. He pushed an extreme ban on books.

MAGA Mike took the endorsement of the extreme anti-abortion California Pro-Life Council and the right-wing San Diego County Gun Owners PAC.

MAGA Mike even mocked transgender students who attend our schools and refused to apologize for it.

Attacking Students and Teachers

MAGA Mike has been accused of harassment by parents, teachers, the superintendent, and even his fellow Board colleagues. The Union-Tribune also reported that Allman “used profanity in correspondence with the superintendent, admitted to deleting his emails, [and] demanded that school staff be fired.”

In text messages published by the Union-Tribune, MAGA Mike wrote, “I will out this SOB,” and “fire the teacher.” MAGA Mike even stalked teachers off school grounds.

At his very first meeting as a Board Member, MAGA Mike told student trustees the value of their input was “very near zero.” He said it was a “dereliction of duty” to listen to students.

An independent investigation conducted by outside counsel concluded that MAGA Mike behaved in a way that was “demanding,” “disrespectful,” and “inappropriate.”

Shortchanging Our Children

The investigation by outside counsel into MAGA Mike’s behavior, which concluded he was “demanding,” “disrespectful,” and “inappropriate”? It cost the District $49,000.

The lawsuit brought by residents when MAGA Mike attempted to illegally gerrymander the Trustee Areas? That cost the District more than $100,000 in legal fees.

And when MAGA Mike allegedly harassed the former superintendent, the District paid her an extra $316,000 to settle her claim. The District also paid another Superintendent $271,000 to resign early. The District went through four superintendents in the span of two years.

Get extreme politics out of our schools. Spend money in the classroom, not the courtroom.
